Arts & Crafts Mission Oak Slag Glass Lamp Stickley era Circa 1908
Arts & Crafts Mission Oak slag glass lamp with what appears to be it's original green slag glass. The shade has a wooden cap on top so that you are never looking down on the light bulb as with the open shades, though this style requires the use of cooler or lower watt bulbs which transmit less heat. Retains it's original finish and vintage pull chain socket with the period "saturn" or "flying saucer" chain pull. The lamp is in good and tight condition with no damage noted. Measures: 12" square at the shade, 22 1/2" tall overall. Period oak and slag glass lamps are an excellent way to add pleasing color and light to any Craftsman interior.
